2016 Northwest Nonprofit Capacity Report
A consortium of five northwest state nonprofit associations has released a comprehensive study on the capacity, strengths, and challenges of the region’s nonprofit sector. The 2016 Northwest Nonprofit Capacity Report: Our Strengths – Our Challenges – Our Resilience was developed using survey data from over 1,000 nonprofits in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Independent Sector's United for Charity
In early 2016, Independent Sector commissioned research to understand American voter perception of the charitable sector. The research, which included two voter focus groups as well as a national phone survey of 1,300 voters, is summarized in a new report, United for Charity. Learn more.
DEQ Opens Grant Program for Nonprofits
Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Opens Applications for its 2016 Materials Management Grant Program and for the first time ever, 501c3 and 501c4 organizations qualify! Over $1.2 million dollars is available in this funding cycle with applications due by October 31, 2016 with grants awarded by the end of December 2016. Last year the program awarded nearly $600,000 to fifteen projects. Learn more.
